Having lived abroad myself and being part of a multicultural family, I have a personal understanding of some of the complexities that come with navigating different cultural backgrounds, identities, expectations and ways of relating. I recognise how these differences can enrich our relationships, while sometimes bringing challenges that require understanding, adaptation and a sense of belonging.
I offer therapeutic support to individuals, couples and families navigating these experiences, including expatriates, Portuguese people living abroad, intercultural couples and multicultural families. My own cultural background and personal experience allow me to bring an additional layer of understanding to the therapeutic process, particularly when exploring the ways in which culture, identity and family history shape our relationships.
Therapy offers a safe and supportive space to explore these experiences, make sense of the challenges you may be facing and develop a deeper understanding of your emotions, relationships and needs. You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.
I offer psychotherapy in English in Lisbon, providing a confidential and supportive space for individuals, couples and families.
Sessions are also available online.
